Domino

Domino is a game in which players place dominoes edge to edge against each other, with one side bearing an arrangement of dots or “pips” like those on a die. The other face of the domino is blank or sometimes patterned differently from the first. Each domino is normally twice as long as it is wide. The size and layout of the pips is used to determine the value of the domino, which may be anywhere from six pips down to none at all.

A variant of the game is to build up structures such as towers or walls out of dominoes, which may then be knocked over in turn by other pieces. Such domino structures are known as “domino art.” Domino is also the name of an online publication, founded in 2006, that features articles and videos on home improvement and design. It is available as a print and digital magazine, as well as a series of podcasts including Design Time with Hevesh (often shortened to “Domino Time”).

The publication also has a blog and social media presence on Instagram and YouTube. The editorial content of Domino is aimed at a female audience aged 25 to 45, and the website provides recipes, decorating ideas, and other lifestyle topics such as travel and health.

Domino has also published several books, such as “Domino: Your Guide to a Stylish Home.” In addition, the website offers a variety of products such as furniture, kitchen gadgets, and beauty items.

In Marvel Comics, the albino mutant Neena Thurman, better known as Domino, is a member of the super hero team X-Force. She was the product of an illicit government program called Project Armageddon, which sought to create the ultimate mutant weapon. When her powers activated, she used her “good luck” to escape the facility and became a mercenary for hire. Domino teamed up with Cable to help liberate mutants from a concentration camp run by the clandestine Weapon X organization, and later joined a S.H.I.E.L.D. incarnation of the Six Pack in investigating Cable’s new ability to affect change on a global scale.

Domino is able to subliminally and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that manipulate the laws of probability to shift odds in her favor. This power is augmented by her weapons expertise, as she can generate projectiles with the flick of her wrist. She is also a skilled martial artist and an accomplished linguist. She is also a weapons expert, and has the ability to fire projectiles from her staff. Her luck manipulation is unconsciously controlled, and only takes effect when she herself is engaged in a situation that would otherwise be subject to chance.
